Naidu case: Ex BJP MLA seeks HC panel probe

Visakhapatnam: BJP state vice-president and former MLA Vishnu Raju has said an internal committee of AP High Court should review the arrest and remand of TD chief Chandrababu Naidu by the ACB court in the skill development corporation case.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Raju said Naidu would come out with a clean image. The ACB court order surprised the legal fraternity, he claimed.
Terming the arrest and remand as a political vendetta, the BJP leader said the case had been registered long ago and chief minister Jagan Reddy had been after Naidu.
"It is also surprising that the state CID did not frame the officials allegedly involved (the then chief secretary or then MD of the AP Skill Development Corporation) in the alleged scam. "Chandrababu’s life is in danger and if required he should be placed under house arrest, not in the central prison," Raju said.
