Swamy Goud reserves decision on disqualification

Hyderabad: Legislative Council Chairman K. Swamy Goud on Saturday reserved his decision of the petitions seeking the disqualification of TRS MLCs R. Bhupathi Reddy and K. Yadav Reddy for joining the Congress.

TRS whip in the Council P. Rajeshwar Reddy had lodged complaints seeking the disqualification of Mr Bhupathi Reddy, Mr Yadav Reddy, Mr Konda Muralidhar and Mr Ramulu Naik for joining the Congress and indulging in anti-party activities. Mr Muralidhar subsequently resigned.

Mr Goud had heard the petition against Mr Naik, nominated MLC, and reserved his decision.
