Hyderabad: The government increased the security cover for TRS Armoor MLA A. Jeevan Reddy, the party’s Nizamabad district unit chief, on Thursday. He will now get 4+4 gunmen apart from a bulletproof vehicle.

This follows an alleged attempt to murder him by the husband of a sarpanch who he had suspended.

Jeevan Reddy had met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday at Pragathi Bhavan and brief him about the murder attempt.
