Vishakapatnam: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s visit to Visakhapatnam on Friday.

Sources said the popular actor will meet the PM at the Eastern Naval Command’s Chola suite at 8.30 pm. The two will discuss the prevailing political developments in Andhra Pradesh.

Pawan Kalyan will be meeting Narendra Modi on Friday itself, as the latter has a hectic schedule of laying foundation stones for seven projects and dedicating four projects to the nation on Saturday.

In the aftermath of Visakhapatnam incident, when several Jana Sena leaders had been arrested on charges of attacking a convoy of ministers, the Jana Sena chief had lashed out at YSR Congress leaders. He went on to warn them of dire consequences if they call him “Package Star” again.

Recently, the popular Telugu cine star visited Ippatam village of Tadepalli mandal in Guntur district, where compound walls and houses of some villagers had been demolished partially as part of road widening works. He blamed YSR Congress government for targeting the villagers for the reason that they had offered their land to organise Jana Sena’s party formation day celebrations earlier.

In the wake of Pawan Kalyan’s strained relationship with YSR Congress leaders, the Jana Sena chief will be meeting the Prime Minister in the Eastern Naval Command on Friday itself. Sources say he is meeting the PM a day earlier, as on Saturday, he would not like to join the Prime Minister on a platform, where Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and other ruling party leaders too will be present.
