TD calls for state-wide bandh today over Naidu's arrest

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam has called for a state-wide bandh on Monday to protest against the arrest of their party supremo and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, TD state president K. Atchannaidu said their party leadership had decided to observe state-wide bandh on Monday to protest against Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s politics of vengeance, targeting the Telugu Desam.
Atchannaidu called upon people, unions, associations and those who support democracy to take part in the bandh for protection of democracy.
