Will take decision on CPS in 2 months: Botsa

Visakhapatnam: Minister for education Botsa Satyanarayana said a decision on the CPS would be taken by the government in another two months.

Addressing the government employees at the AP government employees’ fourth general body meeting of the Vizianagaram unit on Saturday, he said all the problems of the employees working in the education department would be solved by December-end and similarly the problem of regularisation of contract employees, promotions and filling up vacancies would also be solved very soon.

He said all the vacancies in the education department in Visakhapatnam would also be filled soon and similarly the RTC employees would get PRC wages from next month onwards.

“CPS issue is part of the 100 assurances given to the employees in the election manifesto and hence we are making all the efforts to solve it,’’ the minister said and added that as part of the assurance, the government representatives had discussed the issues with the union leaders several times.

He said several issues were solved keeping in mind the financial aspects of the state and PRC is one of them. He said that in the education department, MEO promotions pending since long have been completed.

“Now the CPS and regularisation of contract workers would be solved taking into consideration Supreme Court orders and suggestions,’’ the minister added.
