Hyderabad: All surveys done by national TV channels and some agencies based in Delhi reveal a sweep by the TRS, give or take a seat, in the state. All surveys gave the Hyderabad seat to the MIM.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the TRS won 11, Congress two, YSRC, Telugu Desam, BJP and MIM one each.

CVoter predicted that the TRS would win 16 Lok Sabha seats out of the 17 in the state but its voting share would come down compared to the Assembly elections last year.

The TRS had garnered 46.9 per cent of the vote shared and had won 88 Assembly seats in December. CVoter said this would fall to 42.4, though that would not make any difference in the outcome.

The vote share of the Congress was predicted to rise from 28.4 per cent in the Assembly elections to 29 per cent and the BJP from 7 per cent to 12.7. CVoter predicted that the BJP would lose Secunderabad, its only Lok Sabha seat in the state.

India Today and Times Now predicted that the TRS would win 14 Lok Sabha seats, Congress two and the MIM Hyderabad.

NDTV went by the voting pattern in the Assembly elections according to which the TRS would win 15 seats, Congress and MIM one seat.
