Elvis Stephenson says TRS rewarded him for loyalty

The hearing in the the cash-for-vote scam is slated for February.

Anglo Indian MLA Elvis Stephenson supported the demand asking concession for poor Catholic students in minority institutions.

Hyderabad: Mr Elvis Stephenson, the man who helped nail the cash-for-vote accused Revanth Reddy and was renominated as an Anglo-Indian MLA said he had been loyal to the party since the day he was nominated and during the course of investigation into the scam.

Mr Stephenson, who has 100 per cent attendance in the Assembly, said, “ My efforts have finally paid off. In my second stint as an MLA, I will advocate not just for the Anglo-Indian community but for Christians in general.”

The hearing in the the cash-for-vote scam is slated for February. The Anti-Corruption Bureau which investigated the case, has filed a chargesheet and the prime accused is Congress working president A. Revanth Reddy.
