HYDERABAD: Union minister of state for chemicals and fertilizers Bhagawanth Khuba said that BJP is only the party where a common activist could become a Union minister.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, along with BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Khuba said that he was a mere party activist since 1999 but today he was a two-time MP from Bidar and a union minister.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ensuring the country’s development across sectors besides working for the welfare of backward classes, SCs, STs and tribals.

He expressed confidence that the party would come to power in Telangana in the next Assembly elections. He said Bandi Sanjay and his team had done well in winning the Dubbak by-elections and also in the GHMC elections.
