Hyderabad: IT minister K.T. Rama Rao should disclose the details of the '3.3 lakh crore investments and 22.5 lakh jobs, which he has been talking about, company-wise, said TPCC senior vice-president G. Niranjan.

He accused Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his son Rama Rao of being experts in making big claims. “The CM spewed venom against the Congress in Mulugu and Warangal districts and tried to mislead the people. He and KTR are experts in misleading the people. People were misled by KCR’s words, and are suffering due to his authoritarian rule,” Niranjan said.

“Why can’t KCR plug the loopholes in Dharani as suggested by the High Court, and address the concerns of lakhs of farmers? Why can’t KCR waive the '1,200 application fee in Dharani,” NIranjan asked.

He said government land should be used judiciously with an eye on the future, and not be sold to generate funds, the Congress leader said. He also took aim at Thursday’s festival of lakes, saying the government was burdening sarpanchs by forcing them to host the events.

He alleged that the names of lakhs of voters were removed from the voter list on the instructions of Chandrashekar Rao when Somesh Kumar was the GHMC commissioner. The Election Commission had taken note of it, Niranjan said and said it was deplorable that such a person had been appointed the CM’s chief adviser.
