Price of plots in SIDCO industrial estates slashed

Chennai: In a gesture that is the first of its kind in the 50 year history of SIDCO, Chief Minister M K Stalin announced the reduction of prices of vacant plots lying unsold in the various industrial estates across the State.

An official press release on Tuesday said many plots in the industrial estates had no takers due to the high price of land and the slashing of rates would enable entrepreneurs to buy the plots and make good use of them.

MSMEs could avail of the latest offer and buy land, some of which have come down by even 75 per cent, and seek allotment by paying the slashed price.
