ALAPPUZHA: Mr Vellapally Natesan, SNDP Yogam general secretary, has started flying high for electioneering. He used the helicopter  offered him by the NDA   to attend the election rally addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Palakkad on Friday.  He  and his wife Preeti Natesan  took off from the Sree Narayana College ground, Cherthala, and reached Palakkad via Wayanad.

He had got the NDA offer a month ago and it came only on Friday.  The NDA leadership had insisted on his presence in the  rally in Palakkad  and wanted him to use the chopper.  The chopper will  be shared by star campaigner Suresh Gopi.

However,  KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran had earlier alleged that it was a compensation to Mr Natesan from the  NDA for surrendering the principles of Narayana Guru to them. Mr Natesan did not respond  and has begun to enjoy the ride.
