EC notice to YSRC president Jagan Mohan Reddy for Naidu remark

Kurnool: The Election Commission on Saturday served notice on YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for his “shoot Naidu” remarks at a public meeting at Nandyal on Thursday.

Nandyal byelection returning officer Prasanna Venkatesh said Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy would have to give his explanation for the questions raised in the notice within 48 hours. There has been a  huge outcry from the ruling Telugu Desam after the YSRC chief said that the AP Chief Minister should be “shot”  over unfulfilled election promises.
