Puttur/Karkala: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath slammed the Congress Party's election manifesto for assuring a ban on Bajrang Dal on Saturday.

While campaigning for Asha Timmappa Gowda in Puttur and Minister V Sunil Kumar in Karkala, Yogi Adityanath said that the Congress has always disrespected the beliefs of people. He further added that Bajrang Dal is a nationalist organization that is involved in social work, and no nationalist Indian would agree with the Congress' proposed ban.

He also mentioned that India was rapidly developing under the leadership of Narendra Modi and the double-engine government, which is bringing benefits to all citizens.

He further stated that the Congress Party and JDS are trying to create barriers and stop the development of the state.

Yogi Adityanath also drew a connection between Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka by mentioning the birthplace of Sri Ram in UP and the birthplace of Bajrangbali in Karnataka.

He praised the Kar Sevaks of Karnataka for their contribution to the Ayodhya movement and invited the people of Karnataka to the renovated Sri Rama Temple at Ayodhya, which is set to be completed in 2024.

Adityanath declared that nobody can stop the double-engine government from coming to power in Karnataka.
