ANANTAPUR: Satya Sai district in-charge minister G. Jayaram has refuted the accusation of rebel ruling party MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy that the YSRC government led by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has tapped the Nellore Rural MLA’s phone.

Speaking to the media while addressing several programmes in the Kadiri area of Satya Sai district on Sunday, the minister maintained that the legislator is only attempting to create nonsensical reasons only to justify his decision of joining the Telugu Desam Party. Jayaram reasoned that there is no possibility of anyone tapping the phone of public representatives.

He declared that the padayatra of TD general secretary Nara Lokesh is receiving no response from people. "General people are not taking part in Lokesh’s Yuvagalam, as they are happy with the unique welfare programmes introduced for them by Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Earlier, the minister inaugurated the new building of Kadiri town police station. Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav, Kadiri MLA Dr. Sidda Reddy and SP Rahuldev Singh were among those who participated in the function.
