TSR moves all elected ZPTCs to Hyderabad

Members to return on June 8 for ZP chairperson elections.

Kothagudem: As was decided earlier by the TRS, winners of ZPTCs are being shifted to Hyderabad and be placed in camps there.

The TRS ZPTCs will be stationed at the camps on June 5, 6 and 7 and will return to their district headquarters on June 8 when the zilla parishad chairperson post election would be conducted.

The ruling party bagged 17 ZPTCs in Khammam and 16 in Bhadradro-Kothagudem district. The party will get two ZPs without any hindrance. Sources said that accommodation has been provided to them in a private resorts in Hyderabad.

TRS, which did not expect a landslide victory in ZPTC elections, decided to shift the elected ZPTCs to Hyderabad before elections. Congress candidates had not given a fight in any round of counting. Nukala Naresh Reddy, general secretary of TRS, looked after the elections and helped in the winning of more number of ZPTCs. He said that the reflection of people’s love and affection was clear in the election results.

Koram Kanakaiah, former MLA of Yellandu who won from Tekulapalli ZPTC will be made zilla parishad chairman from Bhadradri district. The Chief Minister had given such  assurance to him.

Barapati Vasudeva Rao and Kancharla Chandra-sekhar were in the race of vice-chairman post of Bhadradri district.

Chandrasekhar, who was elected from Chunchu-palli ZPTC, is the first generation Telangana fighter and has been involved in every phase of Telangana movement.

Vasudeva Rao, who worked as chairman and vice-chairman of Khammam district, won from Paloncha ZPTC.

The ruling party seized the  ZPTCs of Chunchu-palli, Burgumpahad, Alla-palli, Annapureddipalli, Paloncha, Pinapaka, Kara-kagudem, Dammapet, Sujathanagar, Dummu-gudem, Aswaraopet, Manuguru, Yellandu, Julurpad, Karakagudem and Aswapuram.

Interestingly, TRS rebel candidate Vasantha won from Laxmidevipalli while Congress bagged Charla, Mulakalapalli and Chandrugonda. She moved earth and  heaven for her win. Vagaboina Ramakka of CPI (ML) New Democracy won from Gundala ZPTC.

The ruling party got majority MPTCs more than twelve mandals.

The party baged 125 MPTCs and Congress with 32 MPTCs. TRS may form its mandal parishads in five mandals with the support of independents in the ares.
