Vijayashanthi says dictatorship, Hitler’s rule prevail in Telangana

Nizamabad: Congress star campaigner and yesteryears film star Vijayashanthi said that newly formed Telangana state has been forced into a debt trap during the TRS rule.

Vijayshanthi was conducting an election campaign on Thursday in support of Congress MP candidate Madhu Yashki Goud. She took part in a road show at Chandrasekhar Colony Cross Roads. Women in large numbers attended the meeting.

Speaking at the event, Vijayshanthi said that dictatorship and Hitler rule prevails in Telangana state. The entire country is watching the Nizamabad Lok Sabha, as 179 farmers have filed mass nominations.

There is chance for the Electronic Voting Machines being tampered. The Election Commission should provide ballot papers as demanded by farmers, she said.

The Congress star campaigner said that the TRS government ignored the farmers plea on remunerative price for turmeric and red jowar.

She called upon the people to vote for the Congress for a stable and peoples’ friendly government. People should support the Congress in the Parliament elections, she said.  

District Congress committee president Manala Mohan Reddy, TPCC general secretary G. Gangadhar, senior Congress leaders Taher, frontal organisation leaders and others were present.
