HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday called on BRS president and former Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao who is recovering from a hip replacement surgery.

Jagan Mohan Reddy inquired about Rao’s health during the meeting at the BRS president’s home in Nandinagar. According to a BRS statement, the two leaders chatted for a while. Upon his arrival at Rao’s residence, the AP Chief Minister was greeted by BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao.

Jagan Mohan Reddy reached the city from Vijayawada in a special flight, and after meeting with Chandrashekar Rao, left for Vijayawada.

It may be recalled that Chandrashekar Rao had been recuperating from the surgery necessitated after his fall at his farmhouse on December 8. The BRS president is expected to be resting for another four to six weeks, before returning to active work. He is expected to visit his party office Telagnana Bhavan after his recovery.
