TIRUPATI: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), youth wing of BJP, on Tuesday launched its “Yuva Sangharshana Yatra” from Tirupati on Tuesday.

Flagging off the yatra, BJP MP and BJYM national president Tejaswi Surya alleged that talented youth of AP are being deprived of employment and growth opportunities due to gross negligence of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government. He underlined that AP youth need a better government, which will listen to their voice and fulfil their aspirations.

Tejaswi said during the yatra, BJYM youth will highlight issues including rampant corruption within the state government, CM Jagan’s false promises that have deceived unemployed youth, lack of development within AP and rising atrocities against women and downtrodden people.

“YSRC in its manifesto promised to fill 2.4 lakh vacancies in the state. But it has turned out to be a big lie,” the BJYM president remarked.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP state chief Somu Veerraju pointed out that Jagan Mohan Reddy had promised youth to fill up vacant teacher and police posts and regularise contract and outsourced employees. But these promises have not been kept.

BJYM leaders said the yatra is starting from four locations in the state and cover Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra, Uttarandhra and Godavari districts.
