 Nizamabad: MP Arvind Dharmapuri on saturday said that only ration cards and Aadhaar cards were suffice as mandatory documents to avail of the Central government schemes.

He said that maximum numbers of beneficiaries had enrolled for Ayushman Bharat health cards to get free medical services. He instructed gas agencies to register for free gas connections under the PM Ujjwala Yojana scheme.

The MP, along with FSSAI CEO G. Kamala Vardhana Rao, participated in Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Amdapur in Bodhan mandal and Mailaram in Dharpally mandal. Arvind released the calendar and handbook of the Sankalp Yatra and directed the agricultural officers to enrol farmers in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.

The MPLADS would be spent for renovation of schools and card holders are getting free rice for the last three years and it would extend for another 5 years, he said. He ensured that fortified rice is provided under the scheme from April, 2024. Kamala Vardhana Rao told children and women to avoid unsafe and unhealthy food and reduc salt, sugar and fat consumption. He urged farmers to use organic fertilizers over chemical alternatives.
