New Delhi: Fast-Track Court For Paper Leaks Begins Work

NEW DELHI: A specially designated fast-track court to try cases related to paper leaks and unfair practices in public examinations began functioning at the Rouse Avenue District Court Complex on Saturday, with Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga taking charge.
The court will hear offences under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 and related cases.
Sources said the trial of 13 accused arrested in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case is likely to be transferred to the court. The Delhi High Court had on Thursday notified that the court of judicial officer Anu Grover Baliga would function as a “Specially Designated Fast Track Court” with immediate effect.
The move follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s July 23 announcement on setting up fast-track courts to expedite cases involving paper leaks.
