MP youth issues threat to UP CM to become ‘don’, questioned by cops

Bhopal: A youth in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district was being questioned by the cops for allegedly threatening to kill Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Aditya Nath, police said on Wednesday.
Sunil Gurjar (20), a resident of Hasai Mewda village in Morena district, allegedly called the UP chief minister’s office over phone and threatened to kill Mr Yogi, Civil Lines police station in-charge Darshan Shukla said.
A team of Uttar Pradesh special task force (STF) reached Morena on Tuesday and started questioning the youth in connection with the alleged incident, he said.
The youth who studied up to class eight and is doing farming in his village however reportedly told the police that he issued the threat to kill Mr Yogi to become a ‘don’, police said quoting the youth.
The interrogation was on and no case has so far been registered in connection with the incident, Mr Shukla said.
