BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday left for the weeklong two-nation tour to woo investment for the state.

Mr. Yadav is scheduled to visit Dubai and Spain to meet the local industrialists and investors in these countries to make them aware of the potential of Madhya Pradesh for setting up their ventures and making investments in different areas.

“I am visiting Dubai and Spain where we will introduce our foreign investors to the possibilities in Madhya Pradesh for expansion of their business”, Mr. Yadav said before leaving for Dubai.

During his Dubai visit, he is scheduled to interact with the Indian diaspora, local industrialists, and ‘Friends of MP’ and highlight the state’s achievements in different fields, a spokesman of the MP government said.

He is scheduled to visit the temple in Dubai, the foundation stone of which was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He is also scheduled to hold the first international roadshow in Dubai to showcase the potential of Madhya Pradesh for industrialization.

Mr. Yadav is scheduled to address a meeting in which Reliance Group Vice President Farhan Ansari and Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammad Al Yamahi will be present.

The meeting will deliberate on topics such as strategic investment cooperation, education, youth exchange programme, parliamentary dialogue and cultural friendship between Madhya Pradesh and Dubai.

He is scheduled to hold a discussion with a delegation of Indian businessmen.

The state government will present its new industrial policy, logistic network, skill cluster, textile park, MSME Zone and tourism investment schemes to the global investors.

He is scheduled to interact with the foreign investors and industries interested in setting up their ventures in Madhya Pradesh, during his Spain visit.
