BHOPAL: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a 13-day campaign across Madhya Pradesh to generate awareness among the people, particularly students and youth, on the negative impact of mobocracy on the country’s progress.

The party will reach out to the students and youth by visiting schools, colleges and universities in the state during the campaign, christened as ‘save democracy, remove mobocracy’, according to state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal.

A preparatory meeting was held at the state party headquarters here on Thursday to make the campaign a success.

Addressing the members of the state-level campaign team, constituted for the purpose, Mr. Khandelwal exhorted the party workers to reach out the people at the booth level to ‘expose’ the alleged misinformation being spread by the Congress and the Opposition parties regarding SIR (Special Intensive Revision) of the electoral rolls and other issues.

As a part of the campaign, dialogue programmes will be organized among youth, students and intellectuals to educate them about the alleged conspiracy by the Congress and the Opposition parties to create unrest in the country in the name of protests.

The party workers will visit schools, colleges and universities to expose the alleged plan by the Opposition parties to create unrest and derail the development of the country, according to Mr. Khandelwal.

Public relations activities will also be conducted at the Assembly and Lok Sabha level to reach out to all sections of society including students and youths.
