‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ Sends Shivers Down Enemy Spine: PM

The PM Modi said Operation Sindoor is no ordinary campaign but a trinity of India's policy, intent and decisive capability, affirming that the country is the land of Buddha, the messenger of peace, as well as Guru Gobind Singh, who declared, "I will make one warrior fight against 1,25,000 I will make sparrows defeat hawks; only then will I be called Guru Gobind Singh."

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that with Operation Sindoor, Indian armed forces had sent a clear message to Pakistan: "There is no safe haven left for terrorists".

"This is new India. This India wants peace, but if there is an attack on humanity, this India very well knows to raze the enemy to the ground on the war front. Hum ghar mein ghus kar maarenge aur bachne ka ek mauka tak nahi denge..." said Modi while addressing armed forces personnel at the Indian Air Force's frontline Adampur airbase in Punjab, which is merely 100 km from the Pakistan border.

The Prime Minister had reached Adampur airbase on Tuesday morning to meet air warriors and soldiers. With an S-400 missile defence system in the backdrop, Modi debunked the Pakistan Army's propaganda, which, through fake "satellite images", had claimed that its JF-17 Thunder jets had destroyed the S-400 air defence system at Adampur airbase using hypersonic missiles.

Modi arrived at the IAF base in a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft, which landed on the same airstrip which the Pakistan Army had claimed to have destroyed. IAF's fighter aircraft MiG-29 could also be seen in the background parked safely in the airbase, without damage.

The Prime Minister toured the airbase wearing the Trident cap of the Western Air Command and greeted uniformed personnel who shouted "Bharat mata ki jai" after he arrived there unannounced.

Modi will be holding a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security on Wednesday morning to assess the evolving situation in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday reviewed the security situation along the western border during a meeting at South Block with Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Anil Chauhan, Navy chief Adm. Dinesh Tripathi, Army chief Gen. Upendra Dwivedi, defence secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Vice-Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari.

At the Adampur IAF base, Modi, whose speech was interspersed with enthusiastic soldiers raising the “Bharat Mata ki jai” slogans, said, "The Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy have defeated the Pakistani Army on which these terrorists were relying. There is no such place in Pakistan where terrorists can sit and breathe in peace."

The Prime Minister said Operation Sindoor is no ordinary campaign but a trinity of India's policy, intent and decisive capability, affirming that the country is the land of Buddha, the messenger of peace, as well as Guru Gobind Singh, who declared, "I will make one warrior fight against 1,25,000 I will make sparrows defeat hawks; only then will I be called Guru Gobind Singh."

Modi said it is an Indian tradition to take up arms to establish "dharma" (righteousness). "When the sindoor of our sisters and daughters was wiped away, we crushed terrorists in their hideouts… Patrons of terrorism have realised that casting an evil eye on India will have only one consequence — destruction. There will be only one consequence of killing innocents — total annihilation," said Modi.

Modi said that the world has just witnessed the strength of the power of the Bharat Mata ki jai slogan. He said that when Indian soldiers chant Bharat Mata ki jai, it sends shivers down the enemy’s spine. He said that when Indian drones demolish enemy fortifications and when missiles strike with precision, the enemy hears only one phrase —Bharat Mata ki jai.

The Prime Minister asserted that even in the darkest of nights, India has the capability to illuminate the sky, forcing the enemy to witness the indomitable spirit of the nation. He said that when India's forces dismantle threats of nuclear blackmail, the message reverberates across the heavens and the depths — Bharat Mata ki jai.

"You all have become an inspiration for not only the present but the future generations," Modi said, saluting the defence forces personnel.

Pakistan will have sleepless nights looking at India's drones and missiles after being left stunned by their speed and precision, the PM said, slamming the neighbouring country for using civilian aircraft in its airspace during the conflict and lauding the Indian forces for striking the enemies without harming civilian planes.

"Not only were terror sites and airbases in Pakistan destroyed, but their unholy intent and misadventures were also defeated," Modi said, adding, "Pakistan made many attempts to attack Indian air bases, including the one in Adampur, but failed against its robust air defence system."

Modi reiterated the three messages he had made in his address to the nation, including that India will not succumb to Pakistan's nuclear blackmail and respond to any provocation from Pakistan on its terms and timing.

The Prime Minister heaped praise on the integrated air and land combat system and the integration between their modern weaponry and manpower. The coordination shown by the armed forces was amazing, he said. "Every moment of Operation Sindoor stands as a testament to the strength and capability of India's armed forces", exclaimed Modi.

He highlighted the Navy's dominance over the seas, the Army’s reinforcement of the borders, and the Indian Air Force’s dual role in attack and defence. He also commended the BSF and other security forces for their outstanding performance.

The Prime Minister said India's traditional defence system, combined with the indigenous Akash anti-aircraft missiles and the modern S-400 platform provide a strong shield against the enemy's firepower.

"Pakistan cannot match our capability built on modern and cutting-edge technology," he said, adding that the Indian armed forces have been provided the best technologies in the world in the past decade.

Stating that India's military action has been temporarily halted only in response to Pakistan’s appeal, the Prime Minister stressed that if Pakistan engages in any further terrorist activities or military provocations, India will retaliate with full force. He affirmed that India’s response will be determined solely on its own terms and conditions.
