Maharashtra: Japanese Lexus Brings ES 350H Hybrid Sedan Starting At Rs 66.10 Lakh
“Today marks a significant milestone for Lexus in India as we launch the all-new ES 350h”: Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India.
PUNE: After launching the all-electric ES 500e earlier this year, Lexus, the Japanese luxury brand of Toyota, has introduced the new ES 350h hybrid, the self-charging hybrid electric variant of its 8th generation sedan with a starting price of Rs 66.10 lakh.
Significantly, the ES 350h is the first model to lead Lexus's next-generation electrified vehicle lineup, which will offer both Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) powertrains. It shares its platform and design philosophy with the ES 500e, Lexus's first battery electric vehicle for India, launched in March 2026.
The car is powered by a newly developed hybrid system combining a 2.5-litre inline four-cylinder engine, an eAxle with an integrated power control unit, and a lithium-ion battery. The internal combustion engine generates 186 bhp of power and 237 Nm of torque, complemented by a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor outputting 159 bhp.
Operating as a self-charging hybrid system, the powertrain requires no external plug-in charging and achieves an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency rating of 25.22 kmpl.
The vehicle is built on a new platform with improved body rigidity, and is dimensionally larger than its predecessor, with a longer wheelbase, increased width and a taller profile.
“Today marks a significant milestone for Lexus in India as we launch the all-new ES 350h,” said Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India.
Manufactured in India, the All-New ES 350h embodies the brand’s multi-pathway approach to sustainable mobility, seamlessly blending advanced technology, exceptional ride quality, and luxury,” he noted, adding that he was confident that the all-new ES 350h will set new benchmarks in its segment.
The new ES 350h is offered in two trims. The entry-level exquisite variant is priced at Rs 66.10 lakh, while the higher-tier Luxury variant is tagged at Rs 71.80 lakh.
