Karwar: Newlywed CRPF Jawan Returns to Duty

Karwar: For newlywed Jayant from Siddapur Taluk in Uttara Kannada district, the call of duty came just days after his marriage — and he didn’t hesitate for a moment.

Having tied the knot on May 1, Jayant and his bride were on their way to their honeymoon in Ooty when he received an urgent call from his Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) unit in Chhattisgarh. Without a second thought, Jayant cut short his travel and returned from Mysuru.

Residents of Siddapur gathered to bid him farewell. They congratulated him and wished him success and safety as he returned to serve the nation during a time of rising tension.
