IPL Controversy: Saffron Leaders Announce ₹1 Lakh Bounty to Chop SRK’s Tongue

What began with BJP leader Sangeet Som branding Shah Rukh Khan a “traitor” for buying a Bangladeshi cricketer for his IPL team has taken a darker turn, with another saffron leader now announcing a ₹1 lakh cash reward for anyone who chops off the actor’s tongue.

The district president of All India Hindu Mahasabha's unit in Agra district, Mira Thakur, made this announcement while speaking to reporters on Thursday.
To register her protest against the inclusion of Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rehman in his IPL Franchise, she blackened Khan's posters and hit them with sandals.
She said, "Our Hindu brothers are being burnt alive in Bangladesh and he is buying players from there……we'll not allow it."
Many seers fom Ayodhya also criticised Khan for adding Rehman in his IPL team.
Prominent ‘kathavachak’ Dhirendra Shastri said, "‘The BCCI will take a decision but the Bangladeshi cricketers should raise the issue of security of the Hindus there."
Mahant Ravindra Puri, the president of All India Akhara Parishad Mahant Ravindra Puri said that the fame of Shah Rukhy Khan was because of the people of this nation and he should respect the feelings of the people.
Another seer Dinesh Falahari Maharaj wrote a letter to prime minister Narendra Modi on Friday, and demanded seizure of Khan’s properties and mentioned that SRK should be sent to Bangladesh.
Some even said that Khan should leave the country as he had no ‘right’ to live here.
