India Records Hottest August Since 1901: IMD
Mean Temperature Hits 28.01°C, 0.67°C Above Long-Term Average

India endured its hottest August since records began in 1901, with the country's mean temperature reaching 28.01C, the India Meteorological Department said.
The mean temperature was 0.67C above the long-term average for August, the weather bureau said, releasing the results at the end of the month.
