Successful Hyderabad Investor Meet under ‘Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM)–2026’

In a significant move towards establishing Rajasthan as a global hub for agricultural innovation, agritech investment, and a technology-driven agricultural economy, the Department of Agriculture, Government of Rajasthan, in collaboration with Rajasthan Foundation and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), successfully organised the Hyderabad Investor Meet under the banner of ‘Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM)–2026’ at Hotel Park Hyatt, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
The event was attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Hon’ble Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Shri Joraram Kumawat, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Co-operation Shri Gautam Kumar Dak, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries & Commerce Shri Shikhar Agarwal, Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Horticulture Ms. Manju Rajpal, Rajasthan Foundation Commissioner Dr. Manisha Arora, Agriculture Commissioner Shri Naresh Kumar Goyal, Horticulture Commissioner Ms. Shweta Chauhan, Director General of ICRISAT Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Co-Chairman of the FICCI National Agriculture Committee Shri Subroto Gees, President of Rajasthan Foundation Hyderabad Chapter Shri Pawan Bansal, and several eminent representatives from the industry including Ms. Bhagwati Baldewa.
One of the major highlights of the Hyderabad Investor Meet was the signing of MoUs worth INR 200 crore during the programme. The event brought together senior representatives of the Rajasthan Government, leading industry experts, agritech companies, investors, research institutions, and members of Rajasthan Foundation. The primary objective of the meet was to showcase Rajasthan’s immense potential in agriculture, technology, innovation, dairy, drone technology, digital agriculture, and investment partnerships on a global platform.
Addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma said, “Rajasthan is rapidly moving beyond traditional agriculture towards a technology-driven, innovation-led, and investment-enabled agricultural economy. We invite investors to explore the vast opportunities available in agritech, food processing, dairy, digital agriculture, and agricultural infrastructure across the state.”
Hon’ble Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Shri Joraram Kumawat stated, “Rajasthan is no longer recognised solely as an agrarian state, but is steadily emerging as a hub for agritech, animal husbandry, and rural innovation. We are encouraging partnerships that strengthen farmers, livestock owners, and the rural economy.”
Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Co-operation Shri Gautam Kumar Dak remarked, “The co-operative sector in Rajasthan is being transformed through modern thinking, technological innovation, and investment. Our goal is to build a strong ecosystem where farmers, startups, and industries work together to take the rural economy to greater heights.”
The event commenced with a high-level panel discussion on the theme “Possibilities of IT Intervention and Technological Innovation in Agriculture.” The session was chaired by Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Horticulture, Government of Rajasthan, Ms. Manju Rajpal, and moderated by Ms. Surabhi Rana. Experts from Coromandel International Limited, ITC Limited, ICRISAT, ICAR, NSL Group, T-Hub, Marut Drones, and other leading institutions shared their insights on smart farming, agri-data, drone technology, digital agricultural solutions, and interstate agritech collaboration.
Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Horticulture Ms. Manju Rajpal said, “The integration of technology and innovation in agriculture is not limited to increasing productivity; it is equally important for strengthening farmers’ incomes, sustainability, and the future of agriculture. Rajasthan is building a progressive and opportunity-rich ecosystem for agricultural and agritech collaboration.”
The discussions during the event focused extensively on opportunities for collaboration with Rajasthan’s agritech and industrial ecosystem, technology-led agricultural expansion, research partnerships, and investment opportunities. Experts highlighted Rajasthan as an emerging destination for agritech innovation, agro-processing, and sustainable agricultural development.
The programme also featured one-on-one business meetings led by Shri Joraram Kumawat, Shri Gautam Kumar Dak, Shri Shikhar Agarwal, Ms. Manju Rajpal, and Dr. Manisha Arora. These meetings explored investment opportunities in agriculture, animal husbandry, food processing, agri-supply chains, drone technology, and agriculture-based startups. The second session of the programme included the screening of the official film of GRAM 2026.
Concluding the event, Co-Chairman of the FICCI National Agriculture Committee Shri Subroto Gees said, “India’s agritech sector is driving transformative change at the global level, and Rajasthan is emerging as a key centre of this transformation. Platforms like GRAM 2026 are bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to create long-term partnerships and sustainable growth opportunities for the agriculture sector.”
The Hyderabad Investor Meet proved to be another significant milestone in the journey of ‘Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM)–2026’, effectively positioning Rajasthan as an emerging hub for agriculture, agritech, animal husbandry, and technology-driven investments. Organised in Hyderabad, one of India’s leading centres for technology and innovation the event strengthened possibilities for collaboration and partnerships among industry leaders, agritech companies, investors, and policymakers. Prior to Hyderabad, successful investor meets had already been organised in Jaipur, New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, while similar engagements are planned in several other major cities across the country in the coming months.
It is noteworthy that extensive preparations are underway for the main conference of ‘Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM)–2026’, scheduled to be held in Jaipur from May 23 to 25, 2026. The conference is expected to witness large-scale participation from national and international investors, industry representatives, and policymakers. The initiative marks a significant and long-term step towards establishing Rajasthan as a global hub for agritech and agricultural investments.
