SHE POWER Rally to Unite Women Riders from India, Nepal & Bhutan in Hyderabad
Telangana Tourism Minister Sri Jupally Krishna Rao to Flag Off the Rally on International Day of the Girl Child
Hyderabad: On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, SHE POWER Foundation is organising a powerful Women’s Safety Bike Rally on 11th October 2026 in Hyderabad, bringing together women bikers, cyclists, women police riders and motorcycle communities from across India and neighbouring countries.
The rally is being supported by the Telangana Tourism Department and will be flagged off by the Hon’ble Telangana Tourism Minister, Sri Jupally Krishna Rao.
Women riders are travelling to Hyderabad from Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and other parts of India, while participants from areas around the Nepal and Bhutan borders are also joining the movement. Several riders have already confirmed their travel and tickets.
Prominent women motorcycling communities including Bike Rani, SheMoto and other biker associations are joining the rally, along with women bikers and cyclists from Hyderabad and Telangana.
The rally will also see the participation of eight women police bikers from the Telangana Police, whose participation has been confirmed through DCP Shilpa Valli.
Ms. Preethi Reddy, Vice Chairperson, Malla Reddy Medical College, will also be joining the movement in support of the campaign for women’s safety and empowerment.
“This is not just a bike rally. It is a statement.”
The rally sends out one powerful message: for the safety of our girls, we must come together and raise our voice as one.
Women’s safety cannot be an individual responsibility. It requires families, communities, institutions, police, government and society to stand together.
A girl should not need courage to come home. She should be safe because society stands with her.
The presence of women police riders alongside civilian women bikers will symbolise this collective commitment — women from different walks of life riding together for one common cause.
The rally also seeks to showcase Hyderabad and Telangana as a progressive, inclusive and women-friendly destination, combining tourism promotion with a powerful social message of national importance.
