Future City Police Arrest 9 in Shabad Attempted Murder Case Over Land Dispute

The Future City Police, Shabad Police Station, arrested nine persons in connection with an alleged attempt to murder following a land dispute at Haithabad village in Shabad Mandal, Rangareddy District.

According to police, a land dispute had been continuing between two groups over properties in Haithabad village. On October 23, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM, a violent clash broke out near the village mosque.

During the incident, the accused allegedly attacked the complainant, his father and other family members. One person sustained serious injuries in a knife attack, while several others were also injured.

Based on the complaint, Shabad Police registered Crime No. 439/2026 on October 24, 2026, under Sections 109, 118(1), 61(2) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 25(1B)(b) of the Arms Act, 1959.

Acting on the complaint, police launched an investigation, identified the accused and arrested nine persons in connection with the incident.

1. Syed Zafaruddin (42) – Businessman, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

2. Syed Muzaffar Uddin (31) – Businessman, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

3. Syed Javed (31) – Businessman, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

4. Syed Sajid Uddin (29) – Businessman, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

5. Syed Abrar Uddin (19) – Student, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

6. Syed Ateef Ahmed Hashmi (27) – Student, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

7. Syed Naseeruddin (48) – Businessman, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

8. Sultan Meeran Uddin (25) – Private Employee, Jahanuma, Hyderabad.

9. Mohammed Saber (37) – Legal Advisor associated with civil matters and the construction sector, Secunderabad.

Police seized a Brezza car, a Verna car, a Pulsar motorcycle, two cricket bats, a knife and several mobile phones in connection with the case.

All nine arrested accused were produced before the competent court for remand proceedings.

Further investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack and the involvement of the accused.
