AI Vidya has awarded scholarships worth ₹1 crore in 2025 to learners from underprivileged and underserved communities, with a larger ₹10 crore scholarship programme planned for 2026. The initiative focuses on enabling access to job-oriented skills in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science and generative AI for students, job seekers and early-career professionals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Founded by Raj Varma, the programme aims to address gaps in access to emerging technology education at a time when rapid technological change is reshaping employment opportunities. Scholarship recipients are provided training aligned with industry requirements, along with project-based learning, mentorship and career guidance. The proposed expansion in 2026 is expected to scale training efforts and widen collaboration with educational institutions, non-profits and industry partners, with an emphasis on improving employability and long-term economic participation.
