Cyberabad Cops to Auction 330 Unclaimed Vehicles

HYDERABAD: Cyberabad Police on Saturday announced that it will auction 330 unclaimed vehicles that have been accumulated at Moinabad police station through an open public auction. It is authorised under Section 6(2), 7 of the Cyberabad (Metropolitan area) Police Act 2004, in conjunction with Section 39, 40, and 41 of the Hyderabad City Police Act.

Owners or individuals with hypothecation interest in these vehicles, who have objections, have been invited to submit applications before the Police Commissioner, Cyberabad Commissionerate, within six months from the date of
the notification. Failure to do so within the stipulated timeframe will result in the abandoned vehicles being auctioned.

Avinash Mohanty, Cyberabad police commissioner, issued a press release to this effect on Saturday.
