Truck rams into car, one killed

HYDERABAD: One 37-year-old M. Srinu, succumbed to injuries while his wife K. Durga and daughter M. Karunia sustained injuries after their car was hit by a speeding DCM van on National Highway 65 in the wee hours of Thursday.

Srinu and his family were heading home from Palakonda, Abdulapurmet police said. Durga and Karunia are being treated in a private hospital and their condition is stated to be out of danger.

Police seized the DCM and have taken the driver into custody.
