Bomb threat at Kottayam proved hoax

Kottayam: The bomb threat at Kottayam sub-treasury was found to be false after the police and the dog squad conducted extensive searches on Monday afternoon. Kottayam West police said a call came on the land line at the sub-treasury on Monday morning saying a bomb was planted in the building. The police has started an investigation into the source of the threat.
