Case on Azhar for meet in Tolichowki

 Hyderabad: The Filmnagar police filed a case against Jubilee Hills Congress candidate Mohd Azharuddin and his associates for organising a meeting at a residence in Tolichowki during the silence period on Tuesday night.

Abhishek Tiwary, a member of the Flying Squad team, lodged a complaint leading to the registration of a case under Sections 188 and 143 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Representation of the People (RP) Act.

Around 9 pm on Tuesday, the Filmnagar police received credible information that Azharuddin, along with others, was conducting a meeting on the terrace of a building in Brindavan Colony, Tolichowki. The police promptly alerted the flying squad, which rushed to the location and found Azharuddin and several others in the meeting. Filmnagar police officials stated that further investigation into the case is currently underway.
