Kerala remembers Fidel Castro

The chief minister recollected the valiant fight of Castro and Che Guevara against imperialism.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday recollected the great role played by Fidel Castro in building Cuba and also in  inspiring millions of people across the globe through his revolutionary work . He was speaking at a meeting organised here to pay condolence to the Cuban revolutionary. The chief minister recollected the valiant fight of Castro and Che Guevara against imperialism.

The Cuban leader would always be remembered as the legend of international revolutionary movement. Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala, Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan, ministers, BJP leader O Rajagopal MLA and leaders of various political parties paid rich tributes to Fidel. The meeting was held at Senate Hall here .
