Light Rains at Few Places, Weather to Remain Mostly Dry in the State

Hyderabad: Kumaram Bheem recorded a minimum temperature of 11.9ºC, the coldest in the state on Sunday. In the city, mercury stood at 18.1ºC. The state also experienced light rain at Nagarkurnool, Rangareddy, Yadadri Bhuvangiri and Medchal-Malkajgiri recorded light rains.

Mahesh Palawat, vice-president of Meteorology and Climate Change, Skymet Weather told Deccan Chronicle, “ Rain activities will be experienced in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema in the next 3-4 days after which the weather will remain dry.”

He said there would be western disturbances in the third week of November, after which temperatures will drop in the north and central regions as well as Telangana due to the northerly winds.

IMD said that dry weather will prevail over most parts of the state in the next five days with a minimum temperature of up to 17ºC.
