Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is scheduled to visit the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadadri on Friday, accompanied by his family, and donate 1 kg and 16 tolas of gold for the gold plating of the Vimana Gopuram, as announced on October 19 last year.

The Chief Minister is expected to leave for Yadadri at about 10.30 am on Friday and stay there until around 3 pm.

Last year, the CM had appealed to the people to donate for the gold plating of the gopuram; the temple requires 65 kg of gold.

On October 1, the CM will travel by road to Warangal. Around 11 am, he will attend the inauguration of a private medical college on the Warangal-Mulugu road, followed by some locally organised programmes.
