Driving schools to cash in on Dasara

Hyderabad: All people hoping to learn how to drive are waiting to utilize the ensuing Dasara holidays to take to the steering wheel. On their part, car driving schools are gearing up to seize the opportunity.

Meanwhile, experts have cautioned learners to enroll themselves in recognized institutes and warned that crash courses may crush their dreams.

According to Telangana driving schools association, there are 350 registered motor driving schools in the GHMC limits. Sama Srikanth Reddy, Secretary of the association, said, “many registered schools have car-driving simulators, which will give the learner more insights about road sense while the computer-generated information helps identify mistakes.

He added, “because of the holidays, the driving schools will be busy with trainees.”

An official of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, said, “The driving test track will help the inspector to analyse the skills of the learners, who should also memorise all traffic symbols.”
