Peddler Caught in Moonshine Pub Parking Area

Hyderabad: West zone task force sleuths nabbed a Bengaluru-based cabbie, Shivrampur Babu Kiran, from the parking area of a pub at Filmnagar, and seized 18 grams of MDMA worth Rs 1.20 lakh from him on Friday. Inquiries revealed that he did not enter the pub.

Kiran, a consumer turned peddler, had procured the drug from his source, identified as M. Dinakaran of Bengaluru, and was waiting for his clients when he was nabbed, police said.

Inquiries revealed that he was a frequent traveller to the city. Police said he would stay with a friend or at a hotel, inform his clients, set up the delivery location and hand over the drugs.
