Visakhapatnam: The heavy rains, which pounded the state over a week, took a break on Wednesday following weakening of the low pressure. They are likely to make a comeback to some parts of AP in another three days, with the supposed formation of a few weather systems. The prevailing low pressure over Vidarbha and adjoining south Chhattisgarh has weakened into an upper air cyclonic circulation and is now located over Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure is lying over southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal. Heavy rain warning still exists for north coastal AP.
