Revanth pays tributes to former ZPTC who died in road accident

 WARANGAL: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A. Revanth Reddy paid tributes to former ZPTC Vem Purshotham Reddy, who died in a road accident near Gangadevipalli village of Geesukonda mandal in Warangal district, during his visit to Hanamkonda on Sunday. Purshotham was the elder brother of former MLA and Congress leader Vem Narendar Reddy.

Revanth consoled Narendar Reddy and his family members and said that Purshotham Reddy and his family members are very close to him. “It is very sad to lose him in a road accident. Purshotham was a very active politician in erstwhile Warangal district. One cannot fill his loss. The Congress will support his bereaved family,” he said

Meanwhile, after learning that Revanth visited Hanamkonda, several Congress leaders and activists went to the residence of Narendar Reddy to meet him.

DCC president Naini Rajendar Reddy also arranged a press meet with Revanth Reddy at Congress Bhavan, which was later cancelled.
