Seasoned star Venkatesh claimed that he was inspired by megastar Chiranjeevi and continued acting in movies. "I would have gone to the Himalayas seeking peace after bidding adieu to acting," he says and adds, "If not for Chiranjeevi's comeback film 'Khaidi No 150'. He delivered a blockbuster after nine years hiatus and proved his crowd-pulling prowess once again,"

He claimed that he would act in more movies and enthrall Telugu viewers. "We shouldn't stop and keep doing our work," he points out. Venkatesh was talking at the celebrations of him completing 75 films in his career. Incidentally, his landmark film happens to be 'Saindhav'.

Megastar Chiranjeevi graced the event along with new-generation actors like Nani, Adivi Sesh, Andrea, Brahmanandam, Rana, Ali, Suresh Babu, Sree Vishnu and Shraddha Srinath, and Sailesh Kolanu among others joined the celebrations.

In his speech, Nani said he would love to watch Venkatesh doing more films so that "I could celebrate my 75th film event along with Venky sir who would have by then finished 150 movies," he adds.

On the work front, Venkatesh is awaiting the release of his upcoming film 'Saindhav,' wherein he plays an angry father on a mission.
