YSRC leaders felicitate young mountaineer Suresh

KURNOOL: YSR Congress leaders felicitated Suresh Babu, a 24-year-old mountaineer, in the city on Saturday for his remarkable achievements in scaling seven summits and 25 mountains, including Mount Everest. The local MP, Dr Sanjeev Kumar, along with Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of Yemmiganur MLA K. Chennakesava Reddy, praised Suresh’s talent and dedication. They also extended financial support to him to aid his future endeavours.

Suresh Babu, an ardent follower of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, expressed his desire to meet the CM and seek financial assistance. In response, the YSRC’s top leaders promptly reached out to him and provided the required support. They assured him of complete assistance from the government to fulfil his dreams as a mountaineer.

Dr Sanjeev Kumar assured Suresh of recognition from the Central government for his achievements and promised to help him receive the prestigious Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award through the Central government channels. The son of Chennakesava Reddy pledged to take care of his financial needs and ensure that the government provides him with full support.

Suresh Babu, who attributes his success to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, has been promoting the welfare schemes launched by the YSRC government at the mountain tops he has conquered. He became the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award to scale Mount Manaslu and Mount Lhotse and raised banners of the government’s Navartanalu schemes at the peaks. He stated that his life was transformed by the welfare schemes introduced by the Chief Minister since coming to power in 2019.

Inspired by Jagan Mohan Reddy’s 3,648 km padayatra, Suresh decided to pursue his dreams with a similar determination, and he expressed his gratitude and trust in the Chief Minister and the government for their support.
