HYDERABAD: The Gadwal police have directed officials to finish pending cases by filing chargesheets before the courts and asked them to use technology to detect cases by taking the opinion of the experts.

Gadwal deputy superintendent of Police (DSP) Ch. Ranga Swamy visited several police stations on Sunday and interacted with the staff on the functioning of the police stations. The DSP asked the inspectors, sub-inspectors and staff about cases being reported by the victims and measures taken to register FIRs and investigations.

“As part of monthly visiting, senior police officials have visited Gadwal rural police station and reviewed the police station and staff functioning. I asked the staff to interact with the complainants who visit the police stations and accept their complaints. After registering FIRs, the investigation officer must look into the issues and conduct a proper investigation. If any staff violates the rules, we will not hesitate to take action,” the DSP said.

DSPs of concerned divisions in all districts visit their police stations which come under their jurisdiction and interact with the staff and complainants. Based on the information collected, the DSPs would submit a report to the concerned SPs for taking further action. Implementation of the police vertical system, 5S policy, coordination with court constables, collecting evidence and submitting before the courts for getting a conviction are key factors.

Officials also asked the SHOs to check the sale of spurious seeds in rural localities as several traders were smuggling spurious seeds and selling the same to farmers. The SHOs were directed to detain miscreants under the PD Act if any person indulged in selling spurious seeds in rural areas.
