Heera Group CEO alleges political conspiracy to malign her

HYDERABAD: Days after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) attached 33 crore worth of properties of the Heera Group in a case of alleged money laundering, the group’s legal representatives on Monday alleged that there was a political conspiracy against them, including CEO Nowhera Shaikh, who had approached the Supreme Court for justice.

Her legal associates Bhakar and Jahnavi said that the Supreme Court’s instructions to lift the ED attachment were their first victory in the legal battle.

"Some people are spreading false propaganda against Shaikh, who is leading a respectable life. We will take legal action against those responsible for this," Bhaskar said.
