OU Women’s College pays homage to Mir Mukkaram Jah

HYDERABAD: A condolence meeting for Mir Mukkaram Jah, the grandson of the last Nizam Osman Ali Khan, was held at OU college for women in Koti here on Friday. Organised by the institute’s department of Urdu, the meeting was attended by Prince Muffaqam Jah Bahadur, the younger brother of Mukrram Jah, noted historians and Urdu scholars from across the state.

The principal of the college Prof M. Vijju Latha recalled the noble contributions of the Nizam, who passed away last Friday, to boost education.
Dr. Syeda Naseem Sultana, assistant professor, said “this is the first condolence meeting organized for him in the city. Faculty members and students offered prayers".
