Hyderabad: In a return to tradition, the Festival Choristers, an eclectic ensemble founded by civil servants Daphne Rebello, Rachel Chatterjee and Aruna Bahuguna, is poised to hold its 18th consecutive performance. Breaking free from the confines necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic, when they performed online due to the lockdown restrictions, the choir is reclaiming the joy of in-person festivities this December.

Conceived in 2006 with the vision of fostering unity among communities, the Festival Choristers have stood as a musical beacon throughout the years.

This year, the celebration is set to take place at Avasa Hotel on Hitec City Road, adjacent to the Metro Rail station, on December 4 at 7.30 pm.

Comprising music enthusiasts from diverse professions and age groups, the Festival Choristers are set to embody the timeless phrase, 'Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards all men' through their concert.
